West Adderbury Residents Association (WARA) said measures to end speeding motorists include extended speed limits and chicanes and the work could start as early as next month.
Oxfordshire County Council approved the traffic calming measures for a stretch of Milton Road, Berry Hill Road and The Rise.
The existing 30mph limit is to be extended further along Milton Road towards the Ball Colegrave site and a short 40mph speed limit will be introduced at the entrance to Berry Hill Road from the A4260 Oxford Road.
