A popular supermarket, known as Sahad Store in the Garki area of Abuja closed down on Friday by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has been reopened. The supermarket was sealed on Friday by an enforcement team, for engaging in “misleading pricing and lack of transparency in pricing”. It was learned Adamu Ahmed Abdullahi, Acting Executive Vice Chairman of the FCCPC, led the team that sealed off the store after its management was accused of shortchanging customers by charging prices other than the price tag at the shelves.
