Monday was a big day for an Adamsville 7-year-old! In fact, it was his day. Skyler Simmons was given an award from the Adamsville Fire Chief after he saved his family from a house fire on April 24.

ADAMSVILLE The Adamsville Fire Department and the Adamsville Police Department responded to a crash on Minor Parkway, on Monday, May 24, 2021.

The crash involved a Penske Rental truck.
Minor Parkway will be closed at the Highway 78 overpass until crews are able to clear the scene. The city of Adamsville said it could take several hours.
There is no word on the condition of the occupants of the truck.
