Jason Christie averaged just under 11 pounds per day en route to victory at the Sabine River Bassmaster Elite Series.
By B.A.S.S. Communications Staff Sticking with a bold plan, but making key adjustments was the winning formula for Jason Christie, whose four-day total of 43-15 topped the field at the Sabine River Bassmaster Elite Series in Orange, Texas.
Claiming his sixth Bassmaster victory, Christie posted his best effort on day 1 with a 2nd-place limit of 15-01. He took over the top spot on Friday by adding 13-14 and held that position on day 3 with a limit of 6-12. He closed the deal with a final-round limit that weighed 8-04.

TxDOT started tearing down the Brooks Rd. overpass and is rebuilding a new one that will be 2 ft. taller. That project started in 2019 and is expected to be completed around September.
