Malinowski elected to Pittston Select Board
A special election also took place in Richmond, with a citizen s petition to amend the Land Use Ordinance to allow individual well and septic systems for developments defeated at the polls.

Malinowski, 47, received 114 votes in a special election Tuesday, defeating 31-year-old Adam Towle, who garnered 59 votes. Tim Lawrence received three write-in votes.
A total of 176 voters turned out to decide who would take over for Kimball, who resigned the position in May after less than a year on the job.
RICHMOND
In Richmond, a special referendum vote to amend the town’s Land Use Ordinance failed by a 208-173 margin. A total of 383 votes were cast, with two ballots left blank.
