Connecticut has more residents hospitalized with COVID-19 that at any time since Feb. 21, state numbers showed Friday, even as the state’s positivity rate show signs of trending back downward.
Gov. Ned Lamont announced 1,807 new COVID-19 cases Friday out of 53,584 tests, for a positivity rate of 3.4%. The state’s seven-day average also stands at 3.4%, down from 3.9% earlier this weekend.
