the movies, but michael, let s start with you. why ten nominations? ten nominations because they thought more movies should be brought to the forefront. as far as the ten nominations, that s the reason for that. but what i do like about this year s show, which is awesome, adam shenkman, they did a study that showed that people don t like them going through a laundry list of thank yous. what they do like is personal stories, tell me how you re feeling right now. so they won t be doing that long list of thank yous and on stage they re asking the winners to be more personal. i m excited about that. i think that s a great change for the show. they ve already advised them what their speeches should be like. that s a lot of pressure. they actually do that every year. they beg them, beg them, beg them not to thank their agents. really? they go on line and tell them not to do those thank yous.
