Risking another shutdown. Theres a trillion dollar deal on the table to stop it. Some in washington are saying the cure may be worse than the disease. One things worse, its causing depolitical divisions on both sides. Heres what it does in part. It funds most of the government through next fall. Thats the good news. The department of Homeland Security just gets funded through february. And democrats are upset about two other pieces of the bill. The first rewrites Campaign Finance rules. The second rewrites banking regulations. Speaker boehner said yesterday it may not be pretty but it is a deal. Heres the problem for boehner. The vote is set for today at 2 00 and he needs 218 votes to get the bill passed. But he needs help from both parties. As many as 80 republicans may oppose the bill. Especially conservatives.
