Adam Nayak, winner of the 2022 J.E. Wallace Sterling Award for outstanding leadership and service, will graduate in June with a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering and a minor in comparative studies in race and ethnicity. He plans to complete a degree in management science and engineering next year, then pursue a PhD with a sustainability and social impact focus.

“So far, I’ve curated an album for the library’s Flickr about the experiences of Black children during the Civil War,” she said during an interview in early May. “I’ve created posts for its Instagram, which has almost 90,000 followers. Prashant Ranganathan, a 12th class student from Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur has won the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in the category of Environment Engineering in the United States.
After he was declared winner in the environmental engineering category, Prashant said, “My project will actually help farmers in biodegrading the pesticide which is plaguing the country.”
