Oklahoma State lands commitment from Quarterback Garret Rangel
The Frisco Lone Star product joins former teammate Jaden Nixon in Stillwater.

Oklahoma State’s newest commitment comes at a position that the Cowboys didn’t take a player from in the class of 2021, and from a player that will join one of his high school teammates in Stillwater.
Frisco Lone Star (TX) quarterback Garret Rangel committed to Oklahoma State on Friday night. The rising senior has played with OSU signee Jaden Nixon for the last two seasons with the Lone Star Rangers.
Rangel chose the Cowboys over offers from Virginia Tech, Utah and Houston, among others. Rangel passed for 2,422 yards and 27 touchdowns to five interceptions, according to the Dallas Morning News.
