Jazz Come Alive After Slow Start
Utah has struggled defensively over its recent rough patch. Heading into Tuesday s game, the Jazz were tied for the league s sixth-worst defensive rating dating back to Feb. 26, per NBA Advanced Stats. That s a departure from the norm, as they have the third-best defensive rating over the full season.
At the start of Tuesday s game, that showed, as the Jazz allowed the Celtics to run out to an 18-7 lead by the time there was under five minutes left in the first quarter.
Fall’s shot hit the glass before rolling inside the hoop, sending his teammate to a frenzy. The entire TD Garden would have likely gone crazy had there been fans on the stands.
The bench was loving it. pic.twitter.com/tQlnHSd46n
Sadly, Fall’s shot was ruled a two-pointer after officials saw his foot on the line.
Oh man Tacko just had his foot on the line on a 3-pointer that s what happens when you have size a million shoes I guess but the bench went BANANAS when it went in
Fall finished with six points, five rebounds, and one block in their 124-107 victory. He went a pristine 3-of-3 from the floor, including that rare outside shot.
