Demolition underway to make room for York Village luxury condos
By Dan Bancroft
YORK, Maine After more than a year of applications, meetings and reviews, Dave Lauze, owner of Jefferson Homes Inc., watched Thursday morning as demolition of the existing structure at 298 York Street began.
Once the site is cleared, construction will begin on Bristol Pointe Condominiums, described in marketing materials as “modern luxury with York Village charm.”
Also present were some of the project’s local partners, including Brud Weger and Chris Duplantis of Weger Architects, Rich Goodenough and Chris Kehl from Kennebunk Savings Bank, and Matt McGrail and Adam Eldredge of Eldredge Lumber & Hardware.
