Messenger KUWAIT CITY, Dec 17: The inclusion of Al-Sadu weaving in UNESCO’s list of Intangible Heritage is a victory for GCC countries’ culture, especially the State of Kuwait, said the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters on Thursday. In a statement to KUNA, NCCAL Secretary General Kamel Al-Abduljalil indicated that the inclusion – announced yesterday in a virtual meeting for the 15th meeting of UNESCO’s Intangible Heritage Committee – was a well-deserved win for Kuwait.
