UK-SVG Friendship Trust donates $330,000

The UK-SVG Friendship Trust has granted an amount of EC$ 330,000 to the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, to assist with the relief effort following the eruption of the La Soufrière volcano.
At a presentation ceremony held on Friday 16th at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator Keisal Peters, Minister of State with responsibility for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, accepted the donation on behalf of the Government, Mr. Darrien Ollivierre, the Trust’s local representative.
The senator expressed gratitude to the Trust for it generous contribution to the cause of assisting those in need.
