It was in that event where Kavin spoke emotionally about his best friend Mani. He said that he purposely named his role as Mani in honour of his friend who is not with him now. He also dedicated the success of the film to his friend Mani. Kavin also said that all the reasons for his success are always his friends and even the dress he have worn for the show was given to him by his friends.
