Both Gupta and Mehra had spent a large part of their lockdown at their holiday home in Mukteshwar. “My husband actually lives in Delhi and I live in Mumbai, that’s our base. So actually, for the first time, we lived as husband and wife here, in the lockdown. First time I came to know him and he came to know me, Gupta told a leading entertainment portal.

On Friday, the actress shared glimpses of her cottage in Mukteshwar. As soon as the lockdown was announced in Mumbai, I immediately came away to my home in Mukteshwar, she said, in a video shared on her social media. People say that the mountains are beautiful but don t like clothes drying out in the open. But I feel that unless clothes are not drying on the clothesline, the washing machine isn t running in its place, a house doesn t feel like home. Mountains are beautiful, but I like these clothes too. I like it because that feels like home, she added. Last year, for the longest time, Gupta was away in her cottage in Mukteshwar and she used to share a bunch of videos from there.
