Students danced to the rhythm of music while the smell of fresh taco meat polluted the air, causing a line to form so students could get a bite. Some dabeled in finger painting, while others created unique designs on paper butterflies to stick onto a paper tree. All these events and more were a part.
Volunteers joined D.C. leaders and went door-to-door near the Rosedale Recreation Center in Northeast to help encourage residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
