Because of his young age, we cant legally name the 17 year old. To make the court less intimidating, he was allowed to sit at a desk in the main part of the court, rather than in the dock. When the districtjudge spoke to him, he used his first name only. Wearing Police Issued grey sweat shirt and tracksuit bottoms, the boy spoke to confirm his full name and date of birth.
