WASHINGTON U.S. Rep. Jim Himes has filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission declaring he is a candidate for Connecticut’s 4th District House seat in the 2022 election.
Himes’s staff filed the statement on Monday designating a campaign committee for fundraising purposes.
Reached by phone, Himes said he had no comment on a future campaign.
