An uptown Saint John apartment building currently under construction got $16-million on Wednesday to help create 47 badly needed residential units in uptown Saint John.
Riverview has new designs and a revised cost estimate for its proposed recreation centre, but there's still no clear answer on whether it will get funded by the federal and provincial governments.

A new development being proposed in Millidgeville aims to bring retirement living to a new level in Saint John.
The Ethos Ridge project will be a unique multi-story, approximately 120-unit luxury residential retirement community on Sandy Point Road.
The project is being led by developers Scott Walton and Ian McLeod and came about through a discussion Walton had with his friend who owned the 19-acre property on Sandy Point Road.
“They had ideas about subdividing or putting a small number of houses on the property. It didn’t really jive with me,” says Walton, who’s worked previously in the tech startup scene in Fredericton.
