A 25-year-old man was arrested Thursday in Tigard after attacking a woman inside her car, police say.
Tigard police said the woman walked to her car and got inside Thursday evening in the 15300 block of Southwest Sequoia Parkway. But once she closed the door, a man identified by police as Achitoi Hallucky grabbed her from behind, covering her nose and mouth with his hand, according to authorities.
The woman was able to get the car door open in an attempt to get away, police said, but Hallucky grabbed her with both arms. She was able to get free on a second escape attempt, however, and ran for help.
