GladAfrica Championship side JDR Stars have signed Zimbabwean youth international Tapiwa Mandinyenya.
Mandinyenya is from the Aces Youth Academy that has produced big stars such as Knowledge Musona, Khama Billiat and George Chigova.
The 18-year-old was part of the Young Warriors squad at the 2018 COSAFA Under-17 Championships.
Mandinyenya, who is said to be great playing as a wall with his back to the goal as he can shield and hold the ball well, was scouted by the Hammer Boys while playing in the Zimbabwe under-17 national team.
According to Stars CEO Matome Kganakga, the youngster has signed for three years.

ZIMBABWE international forward Khama Billiat has been linked with a possible reunion with his former coach Pitso Mosimane at Egyptian giants Al Ahly.
Billiat is now in the last five months of his contract with South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs and speculation has begun in South Africa about his next move.
His former club Mamelodi Sundowns, where he made his name between 2013 and 2018, are also reportedly still interested in a reunion.
Although Billiat has not been able to replicate the form that catapulted him to stardom at Sundowns, Chiefs are also keen to retain his services when his contract runs out on June 30 this year.

ZIMBABWE international forward Khama Billiat has reportedly married a second wife after recently paying lobola for South African TV presenter, singer and former actress Nomcebo Mthethwa.
According to a report in the South African newspaper City Press on Sunday, Billiat recently paid lobola for the young socialite who comes from eMpangeni in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).
The 30-year-old Kaizer Chiefs attacker has a daughter with his wife of 10 years, 38-year-old Esnath Munyedawo.
According to the City Press report, Billiat laughed and hung up when a reporter called to ask about his reported marriage to Mthethwa, who quit as an actress on the popular SABC soapie Uzalo to pursue a career in music.
