Power will be likely shut off for thousands in Alameda County alone including in the Oakland Hills because of red flag weather and high fire danger. It is an unprecedented move. This is a first. It could take up to five days for pg e to get the power up which the mayor said would be devastating. Five days without electricity is acceptable for our committee.
