Irma is growing stronger as it barrels across the northern caribbean toward florida. It will move into the northern Leeward Islands including st. Martin later today. Theres a hurricane warning in effect for the u. S. And British Virgin islands as well as puerto rico. Most of the projections for irma show it impacting florida late saturday. This morning, workers at Florida Grocery stores are restocking as residents get a head start on hurricane irma. Water, batteries, flashlights, the essentials. I think right now its a little bit too early to tell, but its a good time to be prepared.
