REGIONAL Minnesota recorded 2,104 additional cases of COVID-19 during the 24-hour period that ended at 4 p.m. Friday, according to Saturday’s update from the Minnesota Department of Health. The new cases included four each in Cottonwood and Rock counties, three in Nobles County, and two each in Jackson, Murray and Pipestone counties.
The cumulative total of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota now stands at 566,687 (positive and antigen tests), with 542,520 beyond the 10-day isolation period. Thus far, 40,951 Minnesota health care workers have contracted the virus.
Eight deaths were recorded during the 24-hour period, including four individuals who resided in private residences and four who lived in a long-term care/assisted living facility. Minnesota’s death toll from the virus now stands at 7,072, including 4,348 residents of long-term care facilities.

The new cases included eight in Jackson County, four each in Cottonwood, Nobles and Pipestone counties, and one each in Murray and Rock counties.
The cumulative total of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota now stands at 564,584 (positive and antigen tests), with 539,741 beyond the 10-day isolation period. Thus far, 40,852 Minnesota health care workers have contracted the virus.
Ten deaths were recorded during the 24-hour period, all of whom lived in private residences. Minnesota’s death toll from the virus now stands at 7,064, including 4,344 residents of long-term care facilities.

The new cases included seven in Jackson County, five in Cottonwood County, four in Rock County, three each in Murray and Pipestone counties and one in Nobles County.
The cumulative total of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota now stands at 562,420 (positive and antigen tests), with 538,450 beyond the 10-day isolation period. Thus far, 40,758 Minnesota health care workers have contracted the virus.

REGIONAL Nobles County reported seven more residents testing positive for COVID-19 during the 24-hour period that ended at 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Minnesota Department of Health. Meanwhile, Jackson County recorded five new cases, Pipestone County, four, Cottonwood County, three, and Murray and Rock counties each reporting two new cases.
Statewide, another 1,611 positive cases of COVID-19 were reported for the one-day period. The cumulative total of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota now stands at 560,450 (positive and antigen tests), with 537,130 beyond the 10-day isolation period. Thus far, 40,682 Minnesota health care workers have contracted the virus.

REGIONAL Nobles County reported four more residents testing positive for COVID-19 during the 24-hour period that ended at 4 p.m. Monday, according to Tuesday’s update from the Minnesota Department of Health.
The Nobles County emergency operations center reported that 46 residents were within their 10-day isolation period as of Monday. This included six individuals aged birth to 10; six aged 11 to 15; five aged 16 to 19; four aged 20-25; 19 aged 26 to 50; three aged 51 to 64; and three aged 65 and older.
Cottonwood County recorded two new cases of the virus in the latest update, while Jackson, Pipestone and Rock counties each reported one new case. Murray County had no new cases for the day.
