Aboiteau Wharf, a beachside in restaurant in Cap-Acadie, burned down on Sunday morning. The fire started at about 9:30 a.m., according to Fire Chief Ronald Cormier.
According to a briefing note obtained by CBC News through a right to information request, 57 per cent the fires in the region between 2019 and 2022 were considered to be deliberaltely set compared to a provincial average of 35 per cent.
