Westford lacrosse players support mental health efforts

WESTFORD Westford Academy Varsity and Junior Varsity lacrosse players dedicated their June 3 game to mental health awareness, raising $700 for St. Vincent de Paul.
St. Vincent de Paul provides financial support for low-income families and assistance in locating psychiatric services for anyone that needs it.
The Westford Academy lacrosse players handed out mental health awareness T-shirts to their team as well as the varsity and JV players from Concord-Carlisle at the game.
At the end of the game both teams stood in unity and did so to bring awareness to the mental health struggles of teenagers and young adults.
