WLKY announces first wave of awards in million-dollar grant program Share Updated: 1:44 PM EST Feb 25, 2021 WLKY Share Updated: 1:44 PM EST Feb 25, 2021 WLKY announced Wednesday the launch of the Marketing Awards Program (MAP) to provide up to one million dollars in marketing grant opportunities to Black-owned businesses in Greater Louisville. MAP was created to support Black-owned businesses that have a history of providing essential benefits to Louisville’s Black residents, and a demonstrated desire to advance education and employment and to improve the quality of life in predominantly black neighborhoods.To launch the initiative, WLKY is providing a first round grant amount of $100,000 to each of the recipients.
