What is Blue Homeland?
The Blue Homeland is Turkey’s maritime jurisdiction via ‘ab ipso initio’ – self-proclaimed rights due to the international laws, declared or not declared, but projected to be declared. Turkey still has undeclared maritime zones. Even though, as of now, our maritime jurisdiction has been declared in the Black Sea, in the rest of our country, such as the Aegean Sea, they haven’t been declared.
Today in the Eastern Mediterranean, the western borders have been drawn with Libya. Even though a Continental Shelf Agreement has been signed with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in 2011, to partially designate the maritime zones, this development only includes acts such as reporting a set of continental shelf coordinates. Therefore, right now we cannot exactly say that we have an exclusive economic zone border declaration in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Tripura Chief Minister Biplal Deb has stirred a controversy after he claimed the Indian Union Home Minister Amit Shah has plans to establish a BJP office in Sri Lanka in a bid to internationalise the Bharatiya Janatha Party. This was stated in Indian media reports.
The Tripura chief minister has claimed that Amit Shah had shared his intentions of expanding BJP to neighbouring countries during a party meeting in Tripura on Saturday.
The Tripura CM recalled a meeting with Shah, who was then BJP national president, ahead of the Tripura Assembly election in 2018 during which he had discussed the party’s alleged plan to spread its presence in the two neighbouring countries.
Academicians call US policy against Cuba hypocritical
Academicians call US policy against Cuba hypocritical
Washington, Jan 11 (Prensa Latina) Attempts to place Cuba on the list of states promoting terrorism is hypocritical and marks the US double standard on the issue, academicians uphold.
According to an article published by Reese Erlich, assistant professor of International Studies at the University of San Francisco, on the original antiwar.com site, the State Department s terrorist list includes countries that are not terrorists and excludes those who really are.
Erlich quotes linguist and activist Noam Chomsky, who denounced the hypocrisy of the list and stressed that either they remove it, or they make it honest in reference to the manipulations to bring Cuba back into that category.
