tonight, February 11, from 7 – 8:30 p.m.  The Academic Planning and Strategy Group, which has been meeting since November 2020 and is comprised of 36 faculty and Deans’ Council representatives, is working to develop recommendations that will strengthen and refocus Ohio University’s academic core. Starting in January 2021, the group began to meet in subgroups on academic structures, academic policy and practice, and academic offerings. These subgroups are co-chaired by a faculty member along with a member of Deans’ Council and will provide recommendations by March 1, 2021. OHIO faculty and staff invited to attend academic planning and strategy open session Published: February 8, 2021 Author: Staff reports In her Academic Update last week, Executive Vice President and Provost Elizabeth Sayrs invited all interested Ohio University faculty and staff to attend the Academic Planning and Strategy Group open session on Thursday, February 11, from 7 – 8:30 p.m.  The Academic Planning and Strategy Group, which has been meeting since November 2020 and is comprised of 36 faculty and Deans’ Council representatives, is working to develop recommendations that will strengthen and refocus Ohio University’s academic core.
