Odisha govt issues Unlock-9 guidelines for February Post News Network
Below are the activities allowed outside the Containment Zones in adherence to COVID-19 guidelines:
Large gatherings, congregations shall continue to be prohibited.
Social/religious/ political/ sports/ enteftainment/ academic/ cultural functions and gatherings shall be allowed with a ceiling of 500 perions subject to the following conditions:
In closed spaces, a maximum of 50% of the hall capacity will be allowed.
In open spaces, keeping the size of the ground/ open space in view, appropriate number of persons will be allowed, within the ceiling prescribed above, so as to ensure maintenance of prescribed physical distancing norms.

: The Odisha Government on Wednesday issued its Unlock 8.0 guidelines for the month of January allowing cinema halls and theatres to open with 50 per cent capacity.
In pursuance of the revised guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs for surveillance and containment of COVID-19, the Odisha Government has issued the following guidelines which shall be in force in the State from January 1 to 31, 2021.
Lockdown in Containment Zones
· Local Authorities i.e., District Collector/ Municipal Commissioner shall carefully demarcate the containment zones in accordance with the guidelines of MoHFW, Government of India/ H&FW Department, Government of Odisha. The Containment Zones will be notified by the respective District Collectors/ Municipal Commissioners and information will be shared with MoHFW.
