Not long ago i worked in senator bob doles office which i suppose dates may and this is a newer building then my time. The hallowed halls and something about the work that you do so thank you for taking a break to be here today. You are brave to come and listen to me in particular. In an earlier career i was an attorney which is a group known not only for its brevity of speech and now for a long time ive been an academic which is a group not known for its clarity of speech so as i said you are brave to come on a friday to hear what i have to say. I thought i would begin with the 2012 election and as im sure you are aware after that election

Many people proclaimed the death of the modern conservatism and the american conservatism and the other one deserved that the conservative arguments we heard are going to be relics in a museum very shortly. Lots of people said that conservatism needed to change both its message and its methods if it was ever going to win again. It is still being debated today. I noticed in the wall street j

Oxford university and the pharmaceutical firm astrazeneca have published the preliminary results from large scale trials of their Coronavirus Vaccine, showing that it is 70 effective at preventing the disease. The vaccine proved less potent than those produced by two other companies, pfizer and moderna, which were 95 effective. Taking off the resident hat and speaking for myself in having been a participant in many of the meetings and with regard to some of the stronger language and so on thats from the evidence the opportunities for that. As also and theres a Community Activity there are differences. Its a political process. And i certainly felt f it was very important to gather the maximum support possible for that. So for example, lining like the land marking theres some concern imposing land marking would drop the support so whats the balance for the community. And as such we came out with a strong document this does indeed protections its important. There was strong consensus in the community. Its unfortunate for example one of the Major Property owners never showed up for the discussion. Im not sure why they didnt. It was very broad agreement that were moving in the right way and those are the right things to do and i strongly encourage support of the process thank you, mr. Towns
