Daily Trust reports that the communities are in Magami District of Gusau Local Government Area.
These are: ‘Yar Doka, Kango, Ruwan Dawa, Madaba, Arzikin Da and Mairairai. Residents said armed men first laid siege on ‘Yar Doka village on motorbikes and short any one at sight. The village is about 7 km west of Magami town.
“The whereabouts of dozens of residents who escaped the siege is still unknown,” one of the traumatized residents, said.
It was learnt that from ‘Yar Doka, the attackers proceeded to another village called Kango and shot dead at least 11 people. A resident, Halliru Bala, said the armed men also killed thirteen people in Ruwan Dawa community along Gusau – Dansadau road. The village is 58 km south of Gusau, the state capital.

At least 20 persons were killed on Thursday and Friday in reprisal attacks between vigilante group and bandits in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Residents of the area and hospital officials confirmed the casualty figure during a visit to the area by Premium Times’ reporter.
According to residents, the tragic chain of events began when bandits killed three persons during a raid on Ruwan-Tofa on Thursday.
Following the incident, members of a vigilante group on Friday launched a reprisal attack on a cattle market in Dansadau, killing 16 persons of Fulani ethnic stock and leaving five others severely injured.

Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, has again secured the release of ten kidnapped victims without ransom.
The victims who had been in captivity for over three months and two weeks said they were abducted in the Gwaram community of Talata Mafara Local Government Area of the state.
Among them are three men, including the father of one of the abducted Jangebe School Girls, four women and three children.
The commissioner for Security and Home Affairs in the state, Abubakar Dauran, said they were rescued without ransom through the peace initiative of his administration.
He explained that the state government will continue with the peace dialogue, noting it is paving way for lasting peace in the state.
