Water and Environment Support project launches meeting on sustainable medical waste management in Palestine

ATHENS, Monday, December 14, 2020 (WAFA) - The Athens-based Water and Environment Support project /WES/ lunched this week an online activity to promote sustainable medical waste management solutions in Palestine, according to a press release published today.
WES will support the country in the update of its master plan for healthcare waste management. The aim is to reinforce the capacities of different actors to improve medical waste management practices.
Furthermore, a contingency plan will be executed in crisis situations like the current Covid-19 pandemic, said the press release.
