Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed inaugurates 30th Edition of Abu Dhabi International Book Fair
ABU DHABI, 23rd May 2021 (WAM) - Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, officially inaugurated the 30th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.
The fair, organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), is held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi has allocated Dh6 million to be spent on books and educational materials as the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair gets underway.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, made the announcement during the first day of the fair, with the books set to be purchased from the 500,000 titles available at the event.
The books and educational materials will be used to support the country’s education sector, and will be distributed to government schools throughout the UAE. A hybrid Abu Dhabi Book Fair is taking place at Adnec this week. Antonie Robertson/The National
