Abu Dhabi hazardous materials inventory completed
ABU DHABI, 3 hours, 26 minutes ago The implementation team of the Hazardous Materials Monitoring Programme in Abu Dhabi has completed the inventory and classification of hazardous materials. The team also checked the preventive and safety measures in the stores and taking the appropriate corrective measures. The team was led by Brigadier Humaid Saeed Alefreet, Deputy Director of Security and Ports Affairs Sector at the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police and the membership of all concerned authorities in the emirate. It included more than 70 technicians and administrators representing ten entities and is considered one of the technical work teams which were formed within the Abu Dhabi Hazardous Materials Management Team (AD-HMMT). This was part of Abu Dhabi’s government’s endeavour to impose strict control on hazardous materials and to provide the highest degree of protection for society and the environment.
AD-HMMT completes five years of operations
ABU DHABI, 3 hours, 47 minutes ago Abu Dhabi Hazardous Materials Management Team (AD-HMMT) has implemented the strategy and executive plan approved by the Security, Justice and Safety Committee of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council through-out a five-year period. AD-HMMT, which includes 28 entities representing multiple government authorities and federal agencies, has implemented all projects and programs of the executive plan of the total of 48 since it was formed in 2015. Since the formation of the team, which is led by Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD), 78 working group meetings have been held, in addition to more than 50 meetings of the formed technical working groups. In addition, seven decisions were issued by the Security, Justice and Safety Committee, and 23reports were submitted to the Security, Justice and Safety Committee.

ABU DHABI, 18th April, 2021 (WAM) In line with Abu Dhabi government’s efforts to impose strict control on hazardous materials and provide the highest degree of protection for the society and environment, Abu Dhabi Hazardous Materials Management Team (AD-HMMT) has successfully implemented its strategy and executive plan, to help manage hazardous resources in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The strategy and executive plan approved by the Security, Justice and Safety Committee of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, was successfully implemented through-out a five-year period.
AD-HMMT, which includes 28 entities representing multiple government authorities and federal agencies, has implemented all projects and programs of the executive plan of the total of 48 since it was formed in 2015.
