host Study Abroad Week this semester, this time beginning on Monday, February 1.
Throughout the week, students can learn the basics of what it means to study abroad, how a semester abroad can be marketed to future employers, and more. There will also be information sessions about studying abroad amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Study Abroad Week 2021 will kick off on February 1 with “Study Abroad 101” from 3 to 4 p.m. In this info session, students who have already completed their study abroad programs will share basic information like navigating the study abroad website and evaluating costs and financial aid opportunities.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. Students interested in learning about future study abroad opportunities at Penn State can attend Study Abroad Week, to be held virtually the week of Feb. 1-5.
Although current study abroad programming has been cancelled due to the pandemic, students who may wish to go abroad in the future should learn what is involved and begin thinking about their experiences well ahead of time.
