PHOENIX â Phoenix-based Honeywell Aerospace has picked up a $1.1 billion contract with the U.S. Army for up to five years to extend its support for the M1 Abrams tank.
The contract for the Total InteGrated Engine Revitalization (TIGER) program with its AFT1500 gas turbine engine, intends to improve the engineâs operations and cut service costs.
