The American Legion Post 263 is hosting a fish fry from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 28 at the post. Drive through or eat in the lounge while supplies last. Menu is Pat’s famous walleye, French fries, baked beans and coleslaw for $10.

Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital
LINCOLN – Lindsey Fink is the recipient of the DAISY Award for Nursing Excellence at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Fink was nominated by a patient at the nonprofit hospital to receive the award. In the nomination form, the patient wrote, One of the nurses stands out as a shining star. Lindsey’s compassion, empathy and gentle manner was just what my son and I needed. She has a soft and soothing voice and is so comforting, always taking her time to talk with my son.”
Fink is a registered nurse on the acute care unit at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. She graduated from Methodist College in Peoria in May 2020 and has a bachelor’s degree in animal science from West Virginia University. Fink and her husband live in Lincoln with three dogs and two cats.
