Chandigarh [India], May 4 (ANI): Chandigarh Administrator V P Singh Badnore on Tuesday announced that all beneficiaries including those above 18 years will be vaccinated for free of cost in the Union Territory.
In an official statement, Badnore said, Free vaccination for all beneficiaries including those above 18 years.
According to the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA), the night curfew will continue from 6 pm to 5 am every day along with complete weekend curfew. The movement will be restricted from 5 pm on May 4 to 5 am on May 11, and only essentials shops remaining open. Home delivery up to 9 pm and takeaways till 5 pm to be allowed.

Health Department says it is yet to receive stocks to begin the programme
The Union Territory has put on hold the programme to deliver COVID-19 vaccination for everyone above 18 years of age due to non-availability of vaccines.
A top Health Department official said the administration was yet to receive stocks against its indent for an estimated six lakh vaccines for the 18-44 age group.
“We had requested the Centre for a first consignment of two lakh vaccines for May and another four lakh for June but are waiting for stocks to be released,” the official said.
