mexico about two hours ago, hour and a half ago. taken rolled with a tornado on the ground very close to largo, florida. there is the peninsula here. this is the peninsula of tampa and there is mcdill air force base. there is the other side of the causeway and all the way down to the sunshine bridge, right to. as this storm went over to largo and then it got back into the water very close to the bridge and south and i think that it was just south of tampa on the ground north of mcdill and then near brandon and now we know that this is still, that cell right there, fred is still rotating. wow. that s been a hundred miles, possibly that this thing has been skipping along, and at one point either the tornado or a straight-lined wind knocked down this hangar with people in it at the lakeland airport and 70 people, at least for a time, were trapped. we have crews trying to scramble out that way but you understand that trees are in the way power lines are down in some spots, and also e
yes, near largo and kind of on the peninsula here, largo and there is clear water and then tampa and then mr. diller air force base right there and kind of brandon, the city of brandon right there, as a tornado maybe by a funnel by this time in brandon, ran over that but damage over in largo. a three-building tower has collapsed. moved back into the bay almost south of tampa and that would be ybor city and right on through and it s now moved off to the east and the circulation would be there, but as i look at the latest doppler radar, i think that rotation has significantly decreased so although the weather service did continue the warnings now for western polk and also for eastern hillsboro county, that would be this right here, this box right here and they re saying maybe much rotation to keep it going or it could increase its rotation again because sometimes these things spin up and spin down. and also one more to the east, kind of in southeastern volusia county and this tornado w
this? eight minutes ago it was on the ground in mulberry, florida, and now it s south of brandon. and kind of moving off to the east, or well off to the east now, brandon. and there you go, kind of the notch that we re looking at. south of winter haven, lake wales would be over here and we do know that there is confirmed damage here. i m going to pan back off to the west. because this is where the store. came from just south of brandon proper there. storm there with. damage. back it up, it came from here, i would say just north of mcdill but south of ybor city, south of tampa proper, right across the bay here as that little peninsula hangs down near tampa. i ll draw it for you because it started out here near largo, and it came across from the ocean, across largo, and then back into the water. right over the bridge, i ve been watching bay news 9 coverage. they have a camera, it s just a shock, like an i-report that somebody sent to them of a tractor trailer rolled onto a car right
