Losing two firefighters in a tragic accident. The two firefighters were battling a blaze at an apartment complex when part of the structure collapsed and the firefighters were hit by debris. Two more firefighters were also injured in the incident, but the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. The kansas city fire chief says while the tragedy was heartbreaking, the two who died, died as heroes. chief paul berardi, kcfd they did not die in vain. Care facility. In a breaking news. A day after a deadly shootout at a planned parenthood clinic in colorado, police in our area say a san mateo woman was stabbed. By the time they got there it was too late. Her boyfriends car was later found abandoned in san carlos where a clinic was evacuated. Police lifted the perimeter. They thought the suspect might be hiding inside the clinic but a search of the building has apparently come up empty.
