Three persons were on Thursday morning crushed to death in an accident involving a truck and a motorcycle around Akure/Idanre road in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo state.
The victims, all men, who were said to be relatives were riding on an motorcycle known as Okada when the truck rammed into them, killing them on the spot.
According to an eyewitness, the Okada rider tried to maneuver and avoid the truck but said the vehicle lost control and crushed the three occupants who gave up on the spot.

No fewer than three persons were reportedly crushed to death by a truck along Akure-Ondo Expressway in Akure, the Ondo State capital on Thursday.
An eyewitness stated that the accident involved the truck and a commercial motorcycle popularly known as okada while the deceased were on the motorcycle.
The eyewitness said the accident was caused by recklessness on the part of the motorcyclist and the driver of the truck .
“The truck ran over the three men who were on the okada, and the three of them died on the spot,” the eyewitness narrated.
