The Death of Build Back Better?

Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) surprised the political world when he announced over the weekend that he cannot support President Biden's Build Back Better agenda as it currently exists in the Senate, throwing the fate of the controversial bill into limbo. Some in the White House and on Capitol Hill are holding out hope the bill can be revived, but what would it have to look like in order to get the approval of Manchin and another moderate Democrat, Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona? What does this mean for Democrats and their paper-thin majority in Washington? Capitol Hill reporter Abigail Robertson joins The Rundown to talk about both stories.
