A brute who had beaten up two girlfriends by the time he was 16 has been jailed after subjecting a third victim and her mother to a prolonged campaign of abuse - as a judge branded him a danger to all women.
Johnboy Price attacked two girls he was dating before subjecting a third to a two year ordeal of physical violence and psychological abuse.
Jailing him for for five years and four months, the judge slammed Price saying the effects of his abuse will last a lifetime .
Judge Miss Recorder Abigail Hudson said: [You are a] dangerous man, a man who is not capable of loving relationships and not capable of existing without violence.
Michael Read, 58, and Neil McNally occupied adjoining plots of land and were on friendly terms. But numerous disputes then occurred between the men – some over lost sheep – and by July 29, 2019, their relationship was “strained”, Carlisle Crown Court heard. On that date, Mr McNally was in a yard tending to his dogs near kennels. Read drove into that yard on a quad bike, remaining seated with the engine running. When told to leave, Read demanded the return of a lamb which had strayed on to the land of Mr McNally, who said: “Get it, but do not go on the quad bike.”
A MOTORIST who crashed a Ford Ka into a lamppost after a police chase then tried to swallow a heroin-filled Kinder egg. David McGowan, 35, of Mossfield Court, Bolton, was behind the wheel of the stolen Ford Ka when police spotted it on St George s Road and followed it onto Beaconsfield Street, Bolton, around 3.45pm on Sunday September 1, 2019. At this point two passengers got out of the car and police asked McGovern to turn the car off and get out but he kept edging it forward before reversing and speeding into Gibraltar Street. During a high-speed chase that lasted over six minutes officers pursued the stolen vehicle along several roads, including Ellesmere Street, Park Road, Chorley New Road and Nottingham Drive before the car crashed into a lamppost on Brownlow Way.

Carlisle Crown Court heard that David Mawdsley, 46, was living in Lowther Street in Carlisle when he committed his latest offences. Activists from the Confronted & Caught group, which combats online child sex predators , handed him over to police after making a citizens arrest . He was jailed for 32 months. Mawdsley pleaded guilty to six offences: two of attempting to communicate sexually with a child; two counts of attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity; and two allegations of breaching his existing Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

A repeat child sex offender caught and detained by vigilantes in Carlisle after committing more concerning crimes has been jailed for almost three years.
David John Mawdsley, 46, was confronted on the cityâs Lowther Street, on November 22, by an activist group seeking to bring paedophiles to justice.
Members made a citizens arrest having lured him to a meeting on the promise of sex with an adult female. They also posted video footage online and handed evidence to police.
Mawdsley was found to have made sexual advances – first on an online dating site before switching to WhatsApp using a fake name – to what he thought was a 13-year-old girl, and sent explicit pictures.
