PHOTO: REUTERS KURIANWALA: Police have registered a case against three persons including a couple for throwing acid on a citizen during an altercation 20 days ago. The case filed by the complainant, a resident of Makoana, Chishtnagar 229, after completion of medical formalities, stated that the accused Ramzan had borrowed Rs26,000 from him. He went to take back the money when the accused Ramzan along with his wife Ramzana Bibi and son Yaseen threatened the victim with ‘serious consequences’. Later, the accused physically assaulted the money lender. Ramzan s wife and son then picked up a bottle of acid and gave it to Ramzan who threw the acid on the victim. The victim sustained serious injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Faisalabad.
