Abia PDP Candidate, Ahiwe Heads To Supreme Court To Challenge Governor Otti s Election

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Abia State during the last general elections, Okey Ahiwe, has approached the Supreme Court to nullification of Appeal Court’s ruling which upheld the election of Governor Alex Otti. Recall that the three-man judges of the Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos at the weekend dismissed appeals brought before it by candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Okey Ahiwe and All Progressives Congress (APC), High Chief Ikechi Emenike to challenge the validity of Otti’s election for lack of merit.
