Emmanuel Osahon s side had suffered a robbery on Wednesday morning in Benin but eventually resolved to play the match the same day against their hosts in Agbor.
The outcome saw Robo crash to a third consecutive away defeat in the absence of topscorer Gift Monday and Habeebat Akinwande due to international duties with Nigeria in Turkey.
The triumph takes Delta to fourth on the log with 13 points from seven outings, while Robo slipped further to fifth with 12 points.
In Benin, Edo Queens bounced back to winning ways, with a 1-0 victory over Confluence Queens at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

Bayelsa Queens’ Juliet Sunday is confident they can win the 2020/21 Nigeria Women’s Football League.
The Gloryland Girls are currently top of the women’s league, a point ahead of perennial winners Rivers Angels, after six league games and are billed to face Abia Angels in a match-day seven fixture on Wednesday (today).
Bayelsa have recorded the best league record this season winning five games with just one loss, while second-place Rivers Angels are the only team in the league yet to taste defeat, with four wins and two draws.
However, Sunday is confident that with the quality in the team, their chances of winning the NWFL are high.
Though there are a number of positive tests from the results, the affected clubs have been instructed to keep these players out of the team s camp and replace them with other players who tested negative, Aisha Falode, NWFL chairperson said in a statement to

. The clubs are supposed to monitor these positive cases and ensure proper treatment and isolation until they come out with a clean bill of health. After the treatment regime, a fresh test must be conducted and results submitted showing the negative status of the affected players before they can return to the league.
On the adjustment of fixtures, Falode explained that the league activities will continue from Week 5 encounters on February 10.
Having only managed one point from two matches this season, Confluence will aim for the first win of the campaign in the second home game following a 2-0 loss at Sunshine Queens in Akure.
To achieve this, they will count on the services of Joy Omewa and Glory Edet, who shone brightly at the Flying Officer s Cup in Abuja.
IBOM ANGELS VS ROYAL QUEENS
Ibom Angels will look to earn the first win of the season against newcomers Royal Queens in a South-South derby on Wednesday.
Moruf Adeyemo will hope to avoid back-to-back slips at home after the opening day 1-0 to Osun Babes as they hope to build their encouraging 1-1 draw against Pelican Stars in Calabar last week.
