There are lots of opportunities in Nigeria that citizens can tap to improve their economic conditions. This was according to Dr. Isa Elegbede of the Department of Fisheries at the Lagos State University, who was the Guest Speaker at the annual Professional Day Seminar organized by the Alimosho Professional Group (APG) held on Saturday at the Abesan Youth Centre, in Lagos.

Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Friday inaugurated the newly constructed and remodeled Abesan Youth Centre in Mosan Okunola Local Council Development in Alimosho area of Lagos State.
Sanwo-Olu said at the inauguration that the centre embodied his administration’s commitment to a legacy of youth development and the acceleration of social development programmes.
Sanwo-Olu had said at the presentation of the 2021 budget on Nov. 10, 2020, that his administration’s planned to focus on youth engagement and social works as a means of promoting equitable economic prosperity for all Lagosians.

Lagos State governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has commissioned four critical road projects in Agbado-Oke Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of the state, bringing huge relief inflow of traffic from the Lagos boundary communities into Ogun State.
The newly constructed road network, totaling 6.26 kilometres, which is in fulfilment of yet another promise to the people of Alimosho, include Old Otta Road, Adekoya Road, Makinde Road and Suberu Oje Road.
Each project is a dual carriageway with reinforced concrete drains and walkways.
The governor also on Friday commissioned a 120-metre long bridge linking the boundary communities to Otta in Ogun State.
