Nice field, the Dutchess (yes, that s the spelling)
With an opportunity to get away for a few days and the wife and kids willing to tag along this time, I settled on heading up the Hudson to see the Yankees new high-A affiliate, the Hudson Valley Renegades. After finding a nice place to stay with a lovely view of the river and purchasing tickets for all games of the four-game series against Aberdeen (Orioles affiliate), it was merely a matter of making the long drive. The family got to have fun, notably with some good hiking and a boat trip during the day. At night twice they joined me at the park, and twice they did whatever they did and I went solo to the game (That was by design; they re not big baseball fans.). Mostly temperatures in 60s, only one rain delay, made good baseball weather.
